PDP WOMEN’S FORUM HONOURS ZAMFARA FIRST LADY WITH AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

The Women’s Forum of the Zamfara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has honoured the First Lady of Zamfara State, Her Excellency, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal with an Award of Excellence in recognition of her visionary leadership.
The forum also said, the award was based on her dedication to women’s empowerment and outstanding contributions to party development and good governance.
This is contained in a statement issued to newsmen signed by the Press Secretary office of the First Lady, Rabi Yusuf Wednesday.
According to the statement, the colourful event, held at the PDP State Secretariat in Gusau, attracted women leaders from all 14 local government areas and 147 wards of the state, as well as top party executives, stakeholders and enthusiastic supporters.
The prestigious award was jointly presented by the State PDP Chairman, Dr. Jamilu Jibo Magayaki and the State PDP Women Leader, Hajiya Rabi Madawaki.
They described Her Excellency Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal as a symbol of hope, unity and inspiration whose passion for women’s progress continues to strengthen the PDP in Zamfara State.
In her acceptance speech, the First Lady expressed deep appreciation to the PDP Women’s Forum for the recognition given to her .
Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal described the honor as a reflection of the collective strength and commitment of women within the party.
She further noted that the honour would further motivate her to continue championing initiatives that uplift women and improve the wellbeing of the people of Zamfara State.
“I am truly humbled and grateful to the PDP Women’s Forum for this exceptional honour,” she said.
“This award is not just about me, it celebrates the unity, dedication and hard work of all women in our great party who continue to stand firm for progress under the purposeful leadership of my husband Governor Dauda Lawal.”
The First Lady further urged women across the state to remain steadfast and united in their mobilisation and coordination efforts, stressing that unity and focus remain vital to the PDP’s continued success and the state’s development.
“Together, we will make our party greater and stronger, Insha Allah. Let us remain united, focused and determined to ensure victory for our party and progress for our people. Indeed, four plus four is confirmed, Insha Allah!”
This medium gathered that the event ended with an atmosphere of celebration, solidarity and renewed commitment from the women’s forum to strengthen the PDP family and sustain the achievements of the Dauda Lawal-led administration in Zamfara State.
