Group hails stakeholders for their Commitment to the establishment of Federal University of Medical and Health Science - Police Camp in Funtua

The Chairman of the Funtua Local Government Development Coalition, Alhaji Rabiu Dan Koli, has commended all stakeholders who contributed towards the emancipation of a Federal University of medical and Health Sciences and a Police Camp in Funtua Town, the headquarters of Funtua Local Government in Katsina State.
Speaking on behalf of the Chairman of the Coalition, at the end of their monthly meeting held at the Alhaji Rabiu Dan Koli Farm, the Deputy Chairman of the Coalition, Eng. Tukur Lawal Funtua and the Secretary of the Coalition, Prof. Gazali Garba, said the meeting focuses on the progress towards the emancipation of the University and a Police Camp.
They disclosed that by establishing a police officers camp will to provide better security to the people of Funtua.
Professor Gazali Garba hinted that by establishing the Police Camp will ensure adequate security of the University.
He added that the establishment of the University in the area will enhance education system among younger generations.
Also in his separate remarks, the Deputy Chairman of the group, Engineer Tukur Lawal, commended Governor Umar Dikko Rada for fulfilling his promise to bring the University in Funtua.
He also lauded the unwevering support and commitment made by Senator Muntari Dandutse and all those who contributed towards actualization of the university in the area.
According to him, the coalition will remain committed and resolute always to ensure that government at all levels do the needful to the good people of Funtua and it's environs in the area of dividend of democracy for the betterment of the people in the area .
