The Army officer, Late Lieutenant Haruna Samson who was set ablaze by his wife has been finally laid to rest in his hometown.
Reports indicate that the wife took a decision after a domestic misunderstanding with her late husband.
Resident in the area who pleaded anonymity told our Correspondent that the wife set her husband ablaze in the midnight when he was a sleep.
"We only sighted fire engulfed the house and his screaming for half but before we know it, his body was burnt beyond recognition and dead on the fateful night". He said
Our Correspondent reports that the culprit has been arrested by the police for questioning surrounding the causes of her actions against her husband.
