ZAMFARA PDP's MADNESS UNDERMINING NATIONAL SECURITY.

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has come across a very shameful and disgraceful press release from the dissolved PDP chapter trying to undermine national security plans to rescue the kidnapped 24 students of Government Comprehensive Secondary School,Maga in Kebbi State
APC keeps wondering whether there is no partnership between the PDP led government of Zamfara State and bandits terrorising innocent citizens across the northwest region of our dear country.
This is so because the PDP seems to always celebrate when bandits attack communities in the region which clearly shows their myopic nature and inhuman behaviour that who soever is going to die is non of their business.
Kidnapping students in Nigeria started since during President Jonathan where female students of chibok were abducted, followed by Dapchi and even during late President Muhammadu Buhari students of GSS Jangebe, GSS Kankara, Katsina State and Federal Collage Birnin Yauri in Kebbi but non of the former Presidents cancelled his engagement and concentrated on how to rescue the abducted school children except President Bola Ahmed who considers every citizen's live very important.
It is widely publicised that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is billed to travel to South Africa to attend a G20 summit but with the news of the sad incident of the abduction in Maga, he cancelled the foreign trip and directed his minister of State for Defence Bello Mohammed Matawalle to move to Birnin Kebbi and coordinate rescue of the abducted school children.
But instead of the Zamfara dissolved PDP and the government to send a sympathy message to the people and Kebbi state government over the unfortunate incident they resorted to sabotaging the federal government through unpatriotic release which can be termed as felony.
It is well known that the effort Matawalle made to destabilise bandits and deciminate their activities when he was governor, the PDP government, has nothing in its defence over why banditry has continued in Zamfara State as they controlled the state and Dauda is the chief Security officer of the state but very disturbingly, the governor has abandoned the people of the state, what only concerns him is the state resources which he handed over to his cabals
It started with political party differences and escalated into full blown hatred on the part of the governor, Dauda Lawal supported by all his aides who carryout such bitterness without really knowing why except in order to impress the governor.
There's no justification to keep confronting the federal government and the minister without profering solution to the problem, an indication that they want the carnage to continue so that they can continue the blame.
We have before now, revealed that the PDP government was harbouring some bandits it was never investigated, we exposed how some PDP thugs carry firearms, some of them were arrested when they shot some innocent citizens while the criminals were part of the governor's convoy.
It is a known fact that former governor Matawalle visits or sends delegations to sympathise with victims of bandits attacks and give them assistance when governor Lawal would be far away and won't sent even good words to calm the bereaved.
PDP in Zamfara have made several attempts to make President Tinubu sack Matawalle but failed, so when Halliru Andi now says they are not happy to see the President directing Matawalle to go and ensure the rescue of the 24 school girls recently kidnapped from Kebbi state, one will wonder what the PDP actually wants.
As for now, we'll be waiting to hear from them even though security situation has continued to deteriorate in Zamfara under their administration in the last two years or we can ask Andi to sincerely tell Zamfara people whether security situation in Zamfara has improved or escalated from Matawalle's exit two years ago to date.
Under Dauda Lawal's administration all Zamfara roads are closed by 6pm though all the roads were handed over as safe roads to Dauda by Matawalle. Most have now turned to death traps while others can't be passed through without security escorts other roads users have to travel to Sokoto before coming to the state capital Gusau from their locations in the state.
Under Dauda Lawal the state capital is not safe and he does not care about the plight of anybody that will be attacked, killed or kidnapped.
APC leadership in the state is optimistic that Matawalle will deliver in coordinating the successful rescue of the Kebbi kidnapped students.
So PDP and Dauda should know that people of Zamfara are wise enough now and nobody will ever deceive them in politicizing security of lives and properties as he did in 2023 having failed to fulfill his campaign promises of ending banditry in 2 months as he is now in his thirdyear.
